Hands and Feet of Jesus Christ
is our newest outreach effort. O
ur goal is to actually BE the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. Instead of "going to church" we wanted to "be church" to the community around us. What would Jesus do? That is the burning question which drives us! To know what Jesus would do, we have to read about His life and learn what He did. And what He did was seek out the hurting, the helpless, the hungry, and He did what he could to help.

So we canceled traditional Wednesday night church and we replaced it with a night of service. We meet at 6:00 pm and prepare meals-to-go, then head to downtown Oklahoma City to search for homeless citizens in need of a good meal, friendly conversation and a little personal prayer. In the winter months, we have begun to collect and distribute blankets, coats, gloves, hats and socks. Then we return to the church building for a few minutes to share the stories of the people we meet and pray for them.

The blessings we receive from serving and knowing these precious people far exceeds any blessing we may deliver. We would love for you to join us in this mission.

Eagle Recovery Center is a sober-living home for women who have been released from prison for a non-violent offense or have struggled with addiction or have suffered abuse or all of the above. It is a safe-haven where mutual accountability is practiced and the Spirit of Christ is encouraged.
Through Eagle, we assist our ladies with transportation, job placement, connecting with social services, reconnecting with their families, professional counseling, and spiritual instruction. See this short video: Eagle Video
